4th Grade Reading Guide Package (Download)

I wanted a guide that would challenge my voracious reader to slow down to really take in what the author was putting on the page. These guides have helped with that challenge. The booklist contains some of the best literature out there for kids. I thought the guides included appropriately leveled questions. Lastly, when my child reads a book a day I start to wonder how much he is actually comprehending and retaining. The quizzes in these guides help me assess that!

We like it so far. It would help to have lined paper below the questions as far as formatting for a 4th grader. She is still learning proper handwriting and has to answer them on a separate sheet, so that would be helpful going forward. I also think it would be beneficial to put the 4 “questions” that you ask of each vocabulary word on each chapter page so that we don’t have to keep flipping back to the front page to know what you’re asking for a, b, c, d. Hope that helps.
